i am lost
Ijump into my 2003 s-type the following morning-when I start it----it flashes performance reduction transmission malfunction(I think).
I put it in reverse an it at first felt like it wouldn't move but it did.
upon putting it in drive it bucked-stammered-then took off.
those warning lights went out an I thought no problem great....
WHILE driving on highway it did this again(even at one point not exceeding over 38mph)--then BAM--she took off like no problem...
I drove straight home and parked it back in the garage...
Today when I turn the key-----------its like ----- the wrong key or something???? Crazy though everything works but car won't even turn over....ANYONE PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Welcome to the forum HokusPokus,
The first step in troubleshooting is to have the stored or pending codes read. Without this information, it is all speculation and guesswork. You should post the actual codes back here (not the descriptions) for the best advice for members here with the same model.
When you get a minute, please follow this link New Member Area - Intro a MUST - Jaguar Forums - Jaguar Enthusiasts Forum to the New Member Area - Intro a MUST forum and post some info about yourself and your vehicle for all members to see.
In return you'll get a proper welcome and some useful advice about posting to the forum.
