Default I Just Turned 100K Today!!

Well my 2005 STR is now over the 100K mile mark. We never did get the twin Screw blower option so I think I have finally decided that is a dead end for me.

Anyway not sure how much longer to keep it? It's been my daily driver for over 5 years and has the best car I have ever owned. Very few problems and this list helped me out with greatly.

So much cheaper to do it yourself with the help of this list

I hope to move to an XFR but not sure as they don't seem to have fallen in price like the STR did.

Indeed, congrats! Stick with your STR - much more attractive and unique than the XF and you know your car is well-sorted for the long haul....

I would hate to lose you as an STR resource, so hang in there while I light a fire under Avos' backside.

AVOS, AVOS, WHERE IS THE STR TWIN-SCREW? OUR LITTLE FAMILY IS IN DANGER!

Congrats!

Mine's quite a bit past 100K. Also had it over 5 years. No plans to sell it at all.

Years ago I went Audi and then Volvo. They never really offered me what most appealed to me about my Jaguars, however.

Reading a thread such as this makes me feel much more comfortable with the effort I am making to "come back home" to Jaguar.

It is good to see they not only offer the obvious but also do so for years and miles down the road.
