Default Ignition lock removal hope this helps someone

Hello everyone
this is what I have found out
have just purchased another s type 4.2
Which had a faulty ignition barrel

this is what I found out the hard way
Looking at my jaguar work shop manual it said to remove ignition lock you had to press a little clip and pull the center out some thing like that
Well I ended up removing the instrument cluster to give me more room to see what I was looking for
Well spent two hours looking for this little tab to release the ignition lock
On the 2003 upwards they are held in place differently
there is a plastic tab on top of ignition lock you press down and pull lock towards your self and then lock is free

Also i have noticed on my 2002 str the pin to release the ignition barrel is in a different place as well its on the side and on the 2004 it is in a stupid place under the ignition Circuit board

Also you don't need to disconnect anything for steering wheel lock or transmission

Like on my 2002 str

Have added some pictures
first photo clip to remove ignition lock
second photo pin hole to remove barrel
3rd photo 2002 pin to remove barrel
4th photo 2004 ignition lock

Hopefully this will help someone in the future
