Help need with ignition lock.
Hi all,
I have been trying for the last 2 hrs to remove the ignition switch, it says in JTIS- detach the ignition switch lock cylinder and remove, but i can't see how.
Its a late 2002 onwards UK car.

I have been trying for the last week to remove the ignition Barrel and switch,on my 2.5 2003 s-type but i can't see how. Can anyone help me please.

The switch/barrel is probably secured by shear bolts. Look for what appears to be rivet heads.

I asked for photos so I could tell you how to to remove it.
If it is attached with shear bolts, they need to have the heads drilled out or ground off. You might even be able to get a hold of the heads with vice grips if there is enough room, in order to unscrew them, who knows.
