I'm done...

After stranding me 350 miles from home, near NOTHING, and the continuing "quirkiness" and unreliability, S-Type R is traded and gone...no more Jaguars for me.

Please see my ad for V8 oil filters in the for sale section...

Oh wow I'm really sorry to hear that bro- I have an 03 S Type 3.0 and haven't had any problems since I got it.

Conipc, what year was your S-Type R? What sort of "quirkiness" and unreliability issues were you faced with? Just wanted to know.... Btw, good luck on your next purchase.

i agree with u dawg, jaguar cars and their service are the worst i have never spent so much money ona car to get things fixed. i would advice anyone trying to getA jaguar not to get one
