Cool im a new jaguar owner

I guys,
im new and hopefully somebody can help me ,i have 3 questions about the Stype,3.0 2006 i just bought.
1-i broke accidentally one of the plastic switch located on the side of the right front seat.
There is a way to reach the switch without removing the seat?
2-When driving sometines ai can hear like a short thunderstorm from the back.
3-Also sometimes i can hear a "pop" i guess is coming from the front of the car.

Thank to anybody that can help me with one of the questions.

Hello I also am a newbie but own a 3.0 S Type and a 4.2 S Type R and both had had there issues.
In response to your questions it sounds like a high possibility your exhaust system is blowing (leaking exhaust gas) this can be a unpleasant sound and would give the symptoms you have described for your noise. The cabins of these cars are very quiet so it would appear exhaust is the most obvious if its not this it could be the suspension but you would feel this as well as hear it.
As for the switch for the seats it looks like access is from the underside only and I have no idea how easy the part is to find for a replacement. You can pick up whole seats from a scrap yard or Ebay for extremely cheap and an easy 1 for 1 replacement but that's just a thought

Welcome to the Forum.
It's not unusual for a new member to have many questions, shortly a Moderator will be along to guide you to the S Type section were I am sure your answers will be found.

In the meantime it is worth doing a forum search as there are not many issues that have not already been addressed.

Cheers,Neil
