Default Indicator Flasher fault

Hi guys. Recently a warning came up about my front indicator inop. I looked at the bulb, looked ok, swapped it with the other and it worked, checked the contacts, ok. Removed the connector from the back of the housing and checked with a DMM, still nothing.
Eventually found the wire to the connector had completely corroded inside the insulator.
Basically, if all the other indicators work its not a fuse or a relay. Check bulb by swapping, check housing by swapping, if the bulb and housing are ok its wiring. Check the wires at the back of the connector first then trace back. Use pins or needles to poke through the insulator and check for voltage with a bulb and wire or a DMM.

thanks
