I too am interested in having my STR wood brought back to the original, now faded, color. I contacted Madera and they told me the cost for a complete job, as in all wood interior for an STR regardless of personal or dealer is (as of this posting) $1,395.00. The complete job requires about two weeks or 7 to 10 'working' days. They use the original European (shipped from Europe) finishes that are just not available in the U.S.

This is all of the wood trim shipped or hand delivered to them out of the car. I too have seen their work. Outstanding.

03 STR (current) quartz/light grey
57 XK140 DHC (past tense) red/natural

I did want to add something I found out later. I have had Madera refinish several pieces and thought they replaced the wood and the clear finish. But after talking to them they told me they only redo the clear coat as the cracked and fading are all in the clear coat and not in the wood.

But the repairs they did have so far held up fine and I am happy. They have redone both dash pieces and the shifter surround.

Post back if your wood needs replaced.
