Default JACK . . . . . .

Second question . . . Pertaining to my 2006 S-Type.

It came with no spare or jack. Does this model have a proprietary jack?

Or can I just go to any auto parts store and pick up a generic.

Thanks

No spare or jack hmmmm...yes there is a proprietary jack. The oem jack may come in handy should you get a flat, but you have no spare either. PersonallyI would prefer not to lug around a 1/2 ton jack around in the trunk, although floor jacks are easier to operate. I would look into getting a spare tire first, no actually you need both.Sorry if I confused you even more

If you have to buy a spare, instead of paying for a dummy spare, u shud look on ebay to find a full size. im sure u cud get it for the same price or less then u wud pay for a dummy

Thought this might help you out. Check to year compatibility though. Good luck!

Default RE: SPARE TIRE AND JACK . . . . . .

Perfect . . . .Thanks lowell216.
According to my research I believe that setup will work.

MOMO you make sense in a way that I am not confused, but am left in a curious state of mind.

What size tire “not in size but in type” is the spare? Does my car have a full size tire
for the spare or does it incorporate one of those useless compact jobs?

Thanks
