Yesterday was great and not so great. 10 years ago I bought my S-type thinking I would drive it a year and get back to Chevrolet and Mazda. The car had 45K miles on it when I got and I sold it yesterday to the first couple that looked at it. The not so great part is my garage has a HOLE in it from the missing Jag. Now, to search for a new model that will be just as nice for another 10 years and 104K miles. The couple that bought it will enjoy a lot of cruising miles. That car is good for 50K more without anything but oil/filter. Now on to search the world for another. This is the photo of the car last week.

Easily solved: Buy the Jag back from the people, who just bought it... - there is no Jag, which is more beautiful...
You sold it? After all those years of loyal service? 😳 Such betrayal, it’s so sad 😭😭😭
I know. I am a very bad person. There are 2 S'rs within 50 miles of me for sale. 73000 and 98000 miles. One an STR and one is a 6 banger. I just don't want to rebuild a gray car. YUK. The red STR for sale has paint damage and that is a $3000 paint job. I'll keep looking and adopt another lost S-type soon.
That 4.0 engine Is so much fun! Get you an str or are you going to get an xj or something else jagaur?
I will look and be patient. That is the best to buy one of these cars. I'll find the right one in good time. S-types are the best looking but I also wouldn't mind an X-type wagon. Both are hard to find in mint condition.
