You'll find the correct spec in the owners manual. There's a chart that will recommend a range of viscosities according to your climate. After that, pick whatever type of oil and brand name makes you the happiest, the car couldn't care less.
I use a synthetic 5w30 . I think the filter quality is probably more important to engine longevity than the oil specifics. My personal favorite is Mahle OC323 filter that I have always used on the Jag, but there are plenty of quality filters with decent anti-drain back valves on the market. Probably best stay away from the $2 Asian filters.
