Smile Jaguar s-type 6HP26 parts/fluid info!!

Jaguar s-type 6HP26 parts/fluid info!! General Transmission Oil Filling Procedure from ZF. I found this info for ours trans. i hope this helps out some people. i am still looking at finding a dealer that sales the fluid for cheap, and the fluid should be change at

80,000km/120,000km
49709.695mi/74564.543 mi.

That is the ZF

5 and 6-speed as well as 4HP20 automatic transmissions:
ZF 5 and 6-speed as well as the ZF 4HP20 automatic transmissions are filled maintenance-free with specially developed partially
synthetic ATF oils. Maintenance-free fills are intended for normal operating conditions. Especially driving at very high operating
temperatures can result in accelerated aging or increased wear of ATF oils. In the event of operating conditions, such as:
- highway driving in top speed range,
- offensive, sporty driving style,
- frequent trailer operation,
being above average, oil purification (oil change) on automatic transmissions is recommended between 80,000 km and 120,000 km, or
8 years, depending on the load.
In each case, only released ATF oil may be used for oil changes. And oil changes must be performed in accordance with the relevant
specifications.

It's old. Think about it.......

What exactly did you want as it's likely on here or the net and may be easily found?

I would be very careful here!! The ZF transmissions all use different oils. The 4HP, 5HP and the 6HP do not use the same stuff. Be sure and check the several very long threads on this forum about the proper oil for our 6HP. We now have a source for the ZF fluid that is somewhat reasonable at $17/liter. Not great but it was $40+ liter anywhere else.
