I would start by disconnecting the battery for at least 5 min's to see if that resets the controls.

looks like you have to bring your car to a dealer... could be bad seat module.. loss of power, ground..to module or seat switch or blown fuse

I hear ya man, My dealer service dept. is worthless. I finally started taking care of as many things myself as I could. I am also going to find another dealer to take my car to even if I have to drive farther. Don't give up just yet, you'll get it fixed and I'm sure you will be much happier. Hang in there!

it's not gonna be fun removing the seat when you can't get to the bolts that bolt down the seat.. you can do it but it can be a challenge.

You'll need one of those wratcheting wrenches. If not a regular wrench will do but you'll be there forever!

I have the same problem with my '00 S-type 3.0, would the Driver Door Module be the problem? Changing it solves the problem?

Default Driver seat control module replacement

I have the same problem. The seat is stuck in the far rear position so getting the rear bolts seems impossible.

Can one somehow move the seat forward to get to the bolts?

Is it possible to remove the bottom seat cushion to replace the control module?

Any and all suggestions are appreciated.

Does the seat motor run when you activate it and the seat will just not move, or is it dead... ?

Thank you for the fast response.

None of the motors work on the driver's side; the seat will not move. Passenger side is fine so it looks like the problem is the control unit, not a fuse or something simple.

Any suggestions are welcome and appreciated.
