Hi, the front drivers seat in my 2002 S-Type 3.0 ltr has jammed in the far-rear position. Probably a pen or coin jammed in the console-side runner most likely? The door-side runner is trying to move but the inner runner is totally jammed hence seat tries to twist when the motor is engaged.
I'm not quite sure how to approach this.
Any ideas, anyone?
Access, as you all well know is a problem on these Jag seats.
I'm not sure if embarking on the nightmare of removing the entire seat assembly from the floor will help me address the problem or not?
A wire coathanger perhaps?
Lubricants sprayed on to the jammed runner?
I'm flummoxed.
Any ideas anyone, pleeeeze?
