jaguar s-type service history
Hi,
can somebody help me,
if it is possible from somewhere to find service history and data card for my S-type, Because I buy my S-type from used car dealer and i did not receive any service history. I would like to know is it my car serviced regularly and if it was some parts that was recalled changed. Jaguar dealer in Croatia don't react to my mails and when I call them they would not tell me anything.
I got this info from TOPIx, But I would like whole data sheet; color number etc.
VIN:SAJAB02E8YFL44175
Vehicle:S-TYPE / X200
Model year:2000
Build date:12-Nov-1999
Selling dealer:N7964
Warranty start date:25-Oct-2000
Thanks for helping me,
Sasa

The details may not be available. If they are, try asking Jaguar here in the UK. Go to their web site and find an email. Ask nicely and give the VIN. Say you asked the dealer where you are and they would not tell you.
They just may not know, but if they know then they may tell you.
Also, ask for the full "build" details (all the options and so on). They know those and can be helpful.
Do not rely on what service details you get! Even dealers can be poor sometimes - not actually doing what they say.
To make these cars worth running you need to DIY (do it yourself) and to look at what needs doing. It's better to look carefully and do things instead of trusting they are OK.
