Default JTIS

Is there an easy solution to acquiring JTIS to run on Win 10
I had it on a win 7 computer, this died and now I have win 10 cannot download it.
I bought a JTIS CD (ebay) which worked on the win 7 computer but will not load on the new one.(trying to load using an old remote CD drive but don't think this is the cause)
I have JEPC on win 10
Thanks

I don't think it works on anything past 7. Didn't work on my windows 10 either.

My wife bought me a $39 used Dell laptop running Windows 7 to use exclusively for JTIS. She found it on ebay last December....

I have JTIS (and JEPC) installed on my Windows 10 PC:

JTIS-jtis.jpg

Copied the entire contents of the JTIS installation CD to C:\> drive and ran the install from there as Administrator.

Graham, I am impressed, I have JEPC on win 10
Where did you get your JTIS installation CD as my CD (Jaguar Workshop Manuals 2001-2010) e-bay does not fully load
If I "auto run" I get service guide then onto S type service manual
If I open files I get three folders
Autoplay just lists of folders
Autorun exe. this gets me the S type service manual page but no further
Autorun info just notebook stuff
but neither of the above gets beyond the first page

Paul,

Although I have JTIS installed from a CD on one Windows 10 PC, I used Jim Lombardi's fileset from the following thread to install it on the Windows 10 laptop I'm using today:

Graham,
Tried it and failed, worked on my win7 laptop but not on this win 10 computer.
I have just managed to get the wiring PDF off the CD and into my documents but it won't give me the same option with the workshop section (it shows 0 from 0 pages)
If I get into trouble I'm sure that the Jag dealership in York will let me borrow their info! what do you think? (I know that answer)

That's a conversation I'd enjoy hearing.

Some just buy an ancient Windows PC - they're almost free on ebay etc - and install JTIS there.

The problem is not with the JTIS program it's with the dao350.dll. I have been unstable to find anyway to make it work on a 64bit Windows 10 because Windows do not have program to make 32 bit programs work on this system.

The easiest way out of this problem may be to buy a cheap version of Windows 7 and have two operating systems on the computer. I don't know if this still possible but that is what I did years ago with Xp and 95.
