JTIS: Can't get full version running after installing XJ-only version previously

JTIS: Can't get full version running after installing XJ-only version previously
Having finally got JTIS working on Windows 7 64 Bit Version a few months ago using the various help posts on this great forum, I've now got a different problem with it :-(
I've had an XJ X350 V6 for more than a year and had downloaded the XJ-only version of JTIS. I have now just moved to a 2.7 S-Type yesterday and thought I'd reinstall JTIS by downloading the full version. I did this and it installed successfully, but then found that when I ran it it still came up with the XJ-only logo page and selecting anything but XJ data resulted in an error message.
I've now uninstalled and re-installed it five times, even resorting to an old CD version I've got, to no avail. After an uninstall, including removing unused DLLs, JTIS is gone from the Windows menus, but a fresh install seems to put me back where I was :-(
Any assistance gratefully accepted!
