I just found out last night that my keys do not open the driver's door. They both work in the ignition and the trunk. Can I get a new lock cylinder for the door? Or is there another option? I always use the remote to unlock the car, but if that ever fails I'm kinda screwed.

 

There may even be a lock-rebuild kit. Ask a dealer

 

Thanks Jag. I haven't looked into it any farther than sticking the key in the lock. It feels like it's the wrong key for the lock. Doesn't turn at all. Looks clean from the outside. I'll talk to the local dealer.
