Default Knock sensor replacement

Took my jag to a shop to replace the knock sensor that i'm assuming is bad. P0328 code. I am being told i have to replace the intake manifold gasket. Can anyone confirm if this is accurate? I don't wanna get played. 2004 Jaguar Stype 3.0l V6

If I understood well, the knock sensor is in the middle of the engine and the manifold should be removed. So it is wise to replace the gasket.

I thought that this knock sensor is on the side of the engine. But if the intake manifold has to come off then its better to be safe. Thanks
