I have an April 2007 S-Type with dealer installed I-pod connection which dropped the connection early 2013 when the battery was disconnected
(we were in OZ Jan/Feb) but was fixed by main dealer diagnostics/flash test? at a handsome price when we returned.

The connection dropped again a couple of months ago when driving for no apparent reason, so my question is: do I write this I-pod (it works perfectly elsewhere) off as a waste of money or does anyone have any idea how to resolve this?

Thanks

If it's the ACM it has a hard to see reset hole.

Bad title for your thread. Put ACM or something like that so others can find your problem and answer.

Do you have the ACM handbook?
As JagV8 said I think a simple reset should get you back up and running.

Here is where to look;

Let us know if that fixes your problem.

I installed the ACM in my 2005 STR and in 6 years have only had to reset it maybe 6-8 times. Seems to work good.
