Latest shot. Ebay purchase in 2011, all 18 hoses replaced, DCCV, 79k miles, trouble-free for nearly 12 months.

That's the best color for the STR!! Pretty Blue.

You don't have a two tone interior by chance do you?
Any pictures of the inside?

Ohhhhh that blue is sexy indeed! Nice job on changing the Jag emblem, never know when some punks are going to rip it off. So I'm guessing you don't take her out in the snow ehh?

Thanks guys, that's praise indeed.

Knew I wanted an STR, read everything about them in this forum, decided it had to be an '05, read about all their problems, fixed every problem, changed all seemingly OK parts with a history of problems (lug nuts, battery, DCCV, tranny, fuel filters, all hoses), cleaned injectors and EPB, fitted K&N filter and S/C pulley.
Add a coat of high-quality wax and voila!, a beautiful, fast, eye-catching Jag.

COULD NOT HAVE DONE IT WITHOUT THIS WONDERFUL FORUM.

Clubairth, the interior is not 2-tone, just plain fawn, but it must have absorbed about 500 ml of Gliptone leather conditioner over the last 4 years, and smells of new English leather.

Jag79, I do have winter Blizzaks fitted, but limit my navigable snow depth to 4-5 inches. This is an everyday go-to-work car, summer Michelin Pilots fitted soon.
Had to hunt around for a badge to replace the leaper, eventually found this limited-edition, had really hoped for a badge with "Supercharged".

I think both the red and the blue are beutifully eye catching , along with the aspin green.
A lot prettier than the plain old black , but still love my black beast for sure !

Love those S-types.

The one I first fancied but could never afford...

My very first S-type, mid-60's, me in mid-20's.

...and 50 years later.
