I have a Jaguar 2000 S-type V8 4.0. I recently had some load noise coming from the front suspension, and I was told that I had to replaces some parts. I had the upper and lower control arms, tie rods and ball joints replaced (lot of the rubber boots were tore), and that solved the noise problem. Now I'm have the same noise problem with the rear suspension, but their saying it is the struts and springs. The boots seem to be okay on the rear control arms and so forth. Can the struts really be making all that noise? Just looking for a second option. I'm having another shop look at it Saturday morning.
