lock problem

Default lock problem

i have problems with my 2003 s-type 3.00 locking system using the key fob or the key all door locks close then immeadiatly open again the boot lid works perfectly any suggestions please

this sounds like one of the doors or boot not shuting prpley the car sensers it and if one not shut right it will open agen to let you know if thay are a shut right it a mater of finding which thinks its open a bit

i have had a similar problem. Mine unlocks then locks immediately. From what I understand it is a faulty door latch; common problem apparently. I have eliminated mine to the drivers door. I am not sure if it is a servicable item, although I plan to have an attempt soon. They are available plentyful used.

Just a few monthes ago, I purchased a drivers rear USED actuator (for $145.00 + shipping) it lasted just out of the warranty. I am back to square one.

I will drop the $300.00 on an OEM
