Locking issue on S-Type R (2005)
Hey, newer to the jaguar platform and fixing up an old abandoned S-Type R. Previous owner likely passed away as it was in a storage facility for years... I had to replace the ECM, Cluster, ignition switch, and keyfob. Car now runs and drives great, however I'm having an issue with the locking system and would like to know what it could be from some more experienced Jaguar owners....
The keyblade will LOCK the doors, but not unlock anything. The fob will not lock, unlock, panic, or open the trunk. Is it common to have actuators fail on a 2005 S-Type R? Is there a central locking system or module that I could inspect or look at?
Do I need IDS software to code a keyfob, or is there a way it could be done manually.
What do you guys think could be the problem?
