Default Looking for the correct part (tube) for P0174

I got a limp mode this afternoon. When I got home, I found the ripped tube (throttle body to PCV vacuum line, purple in Joey's pic).
https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/s...ics-faq-52720/

I found the PCV valve easily, but I cannot find the correct tube to replace my ripped one.

Can anyone help me locate the correct part?
Thanks,

Jaguar Forum.co.uk • View topic - Breather hose - which one is this......?
I'm debating on getting a rubber tube hose from HomeDepot now.

BREATHER VENT TUBE
This seems little too expensive for the part I need.

And your local dealer's price is...? Perhaps try one of the site sponsors (Nalley, etc.). I had to replace an intake breather on my X type a few years back, not quite the same hose you need but similar purpose. $11 at the dealer.

I checked the local dealer. They're asking for over $50 for the tube & rubber connector. I will just drop by local homedepot for temporary fix and order the parts online.

I noticed quite a bit of oil in the tube, so I'm going to order the PCV valve as well. It's relatively cheap parts to replace.

Thanks,

I don't believe there is a PCV Valve.

Hose price is $31.32. The PCV valve price is $8.97. from Nalley JAguar, and free shipping. Not bad. I guess I'll need to tape it for now.. oh well.. for just one week.

I've used a product called "Rescue Tape" on items like this before. It is a self sealing silicone tape - actually works really well. I used it to patch a torn rubber sleeve on the Saab open element filter once.

I got like 3 rolls on Amazon for $20 or so if I remember right. One of those things you throw in your road kit and hope you never need, but handy if you do.

I used the other end of the PCV vacuum tube's rubber coupler.
