I've read through the posts on this site about downloadable manuals for the S-Type (mine is a 2003) but I haven't found a link for a PDF version of the Workshop Manual -- I have one for my XJ8 and it's really, really handy because I can store it and use it on my iPad (or even my iPhone), whereas the JTIS of course is only designed to work on PCs (although I do have it working on my Mac, but it cannot and will not work on the iPad!).

So, has anyone found a PDF version of the Workshop Manual for a 2003 S-Type? I would pay a few bucks for it, especially if it's more than just a flat PDF file -- i.e. if you can click on section numbers, for example, to jump to that section, and it has to be searchable (text search).

BTW I did find a site that purported to have such a beast, but even after registering with the site, it didn't seem to be available (maybe it was because I am using an iPad, I don't know).

 

You can get it as PDF from ebay and it's HUGE (3000+ pages, 60+MB). Nothing like so good to navigate as JTIS (which isn't wonderful but you appreciate it when you try the PDF).

The PDF I have on my iPad for the X308 is easier for me to navigate than JTIS on my Mac (which must be the same as you Windows guys because it's being run using a Windows emulator), and it's nearly 2500 pages.

 

Hi, I've bought a couple of e manuals for my jaguars, the first covered most modern models, the second was just for my diesel X358. Both were only £10 online & once I got used to their navigation I found they covered all aspects of the cars. Hope you find what you need, if you need a specific part I'd be happy to email the pages needed if its an XJ from 03 to 09. All the best John
