Default Lowering springs, camber, and uneven tire wear

As many of you know my car is lowered on H&R lowering springs. Before I bought and installed them, I had asked if other people on lowering springs on this forum had issues of uneven tire wear due to camber but the responses I got was no. After lowering my car, I got alignment done the best the shop could do (to Brutal's specs) but the camber bolts only went so far. I was left with slight camber that unlike my several prior lowered Mercedes, you could not tell by looking at the car. It seemed okay. By comparison, my lowered Mercedes' in the past had such nasty camber that you couldn't align out that the wheels looked bowed out in the bottom.

Well, I am getting slight uneven tire wear on the inside edge of the tires. I do not know if I am asking for advice, or just putting it out there for someone to find doing a search prior to lowering their STR but my camber has left me needing new rear tires after about a year of driving it lowered. Fyi I guess.

Really? Mine has been lowered for 2+ years with no noticeable wear on the inside edge. I've had 3 sets of tires. I believe i have somewhere around 1.5 degree of neg camber.

How much less is it than the outside?

alignment can get knocked out quite in easily in these cars, it's honestly a good investment to align at least twice a year on an STR...

inside tire wear is insanely common on STR's, and it's always due to toe.

in fact, on any car, severe inside tire wear is almost always due to toe;

in other words, it's likely not your camber, but your toe being out, check for any play in the suspension when you have it up on the alignment rack,

my STR had a tire wear issue, toe was way out, now i keep on top if it, and tires are wearing very evenly,

bigger wheels, less sidewall, more likely to bump the alignment off in an STR...

Have you considered slotting the holes for the camber bolts?

Of the three angles, toe is the easiest to check yourself. Remember what Brutal says about pushing out the tires before measuring to mimic the effect of the road when in motion.
