Default LS Intake Manifold gaskets compatible?

For 3.0L 2001

Ford part number xw4z9439ad XW4Z9H486.

But they are connected rather than separate gaskets.

Anyone tried these?

Getting my part list together for the dreaded vacuum leak repair over the holidays. Oh, and BTW, $10 for the breather elbow. NOT; At least $50. Hmmm do I smell problem part exploitation??

Gord

P.S. Ford won't take 'em back so I have to order from abroad, time is of the essence.

My bad, I didn't even bother using the Jag breather part number, I used the Lincoln LS part on my search. And my pre-paid non-returnable $50 Ford breather elbow is $8 on ebay. Wow, karma.

So I'm assuming for a 2001 3.0L gas that everyone one who's done this job has used individual type gaskets and now all connected like the picture I loaded.

I did the gaskets on my 01 Jaguar 3.0 and sure enough, the OE gaskets had "Ford" embossed on them.

They are the same as the LS 3.0. There is a VIN split and that 90 degree elbow is the same.

I know I have never said this in any posts that regard the 3.0 (V6) seals (aka gaskets) that FelPro carries all but the lower intake elbow for quite a savings verses chasing around for Ford made gaskets (seals).

Its a no brainer here fellows.......

Yes, you're right. FelPro does have the gaskets and those are the ones that I used.

There are different styles for the lower gasket (against the head). Depending upon the VIN, you either have a plastic cassette with a raised area or the insert type like Mercedes.

Mine had the cassette type which are dirt easy to install.

I ordered the fel pro gaskets. The sad thing is they are still yet to arrive when I ordered through E-bay. They have started this Pitney Bowes shipping program that is an absolute joke. That breather elbow ordered from XKS took 5 days, tracked daily and cost $7 to ship. The EBay order was shipped Dec 14, cost $17, vague tracking data and STILL not here.

Any ideas on that Manifold Bolt part number(s)?

Depending on your VIN, the inlet manifold bolts you need are:

3 - M6x47mm (XR839898)

3 - M6x94mm (C2S26060)
