lug nuts
As long as the thread is the same you are fine, but you need to make sure that the lug matches the wheel. The original lugs on my 03 s-type had a flat washer face on them. My new wheels are splined with a standard taper, so it depends on the wheel. You cannot mix and match flat faced and tapered lugs (and some lugs have different taper, but mostly for race cars, they use 45 deg taper vs 30 deg if memory serves me well)
If you can't find the proper lugs at a parts store, then a local tire shop will definitely be able to get you the right lugs. I know the washer faced lugs that were original on my car aren't sold in the autoparts stores in this area.
