I have a 2000 S-Type 4.0 and about a week ago it suddenly developed a quite major oil leak.....

A friend who has his own garage took a look today and said that it is coming from the air filter housing, and that the air filter is soaked.

What could be causing this??? My first thought is rings (god I hope not), but I would have thought that this would have hapened gradually and not all of a sudden. Last week the car had not leaked any oil, and now it is leaking loads. I had the oil changed last Friday, and it took two litres to fill it back to maximum today.......

He doesn't want to go any further, and suggested I contact a Jag specialist. Does anyone know of one in the South West of the UK (Swindon, Cheltenham, Gloucester)
