Exclamation map light bottons

Last week I done a led swap (dome, front and rear map lights) and the console for the front was a _____ to get off but got it off fine. And while i was putting it back on I noticed dat the front map light bottons was loose to the touch and wasn't turning on but the dome light was fine and working. took it back off to find out there were tiny gray and white pieces missing the dome has them tho. Any advice on fixing this?

Maybe a picture would help? I can't visualize what the problem is.

Almost the same thing happened to me. My right dome light button is loose, but the light still works. My solution is to leave it alone, although it bugs me that one of the switches is loose.
