See attached video.

It's about equal volume from either side of the engine. When I use a stethoscope, the only places that I could hear the clicking noise were from the intercoolers and the fuel rails (which were relatively loud), but I have a feeling that is normal for activating the fuel injectors maybe?

The frequency increases when the throttle is pressed as well.

I touched the supercharger in different spots but only heard a howling type sound and no clicking. Thanks for the help!

Anyone? Maybe it's just loud a valve train? Engine seems to run fine otherwise

does it go away once warm or all the time ?
and what is the milage ?

it does sound like loud injectors to me , and I'm sure mine isn't that loud , if you haven't then change your fuel filter and run some tecron injector cleaner through it , can't hurt

It does it all the time and the car just hit 40k miles.

Good idea on the fuel filter and cleaner. Worst case, that's some good preventive maintenance I can do if it doesn't fix the noise.

I'd guess that many viewers won't download and listen to the file for fear of a 'virus'. I don't have an -R so don't know what 'normal' is.

Ahh I didn't think of that. What do you recommend? Youtube? Or is there a way to embed videos on the forum?

Mine (2005 STR 125K miles) does seem quieter than yours but I think it's just the normal engine sounds. Maybe injectors clicking?
