Default Mintex Brake Pads

Has anyone heard of Mintex brake pads? The import specialty store sold me those, although I'm not really sure about their quality. I haven't installed them yet.

Does anyone know of a lower cost ceramic pad that isn't made in China?

Yeah they are good stuff... Bit harsh on rotors but stop very well.

Did you get the "red" box pads?

I got the red box stuff. I may return it since I don't plan on changing the rotors. I don't need something that is going to screw them up prematurely. On the other hand, maybe I'll change the rotors down the road and just my existing pads go metal to metal. I just don't want that to happen 10k miles from now! Do you know if these pads throw a lot of dust on the wheels? Cleaning these wheels is a pain in the #@$
