Default Misfire

Misfire on #5
I just replaced all 6 coils and all 6 spark plugs, upper gaskets and I still have a misfire.
I'm going to scan tmrw to see if any of the codes changed but I don't think they have.
What else could it be?

Did you use OEM plugs and coils? Could have a defective coil, bad connection, fuel injector, low compression/bad valve, etc...

X2. Using an Accel coil rated for different output, or use of certain aftermarket plugs will have you chasing ghosts.

If you have the 3.0 V6 and have not replaced your two factory Intake Manifold Tuner Valve O-rings (IMT O-rings for short), that could be your culprit. The factory IMT O-rings (yellow in color) were poorly designed and tend to start leaking as the years go by, usually throwing misfire codes. The improved IMT O-rings (green in color) are much thicker and sturdier and usually solve the misfire problem....

I replaced mine in January 2010. Zero misfires since. The part number is C2S40669. You'll need two. Be sure the new ones are indeed green....
