Here is my 2000 Jag. The only upgrades I have done are tv's on the headrests, dvd player, and recently got 20" Chrome wheels. I'm thinking of adding a aftermarket CD/DVD/Navigation Stereo Double Din. Also I'm planning to get a 2005 Crowler Mesh upper & lower grille combo from jaguarxp.com for about $430 bucks??? What you guys think? Have any of you bought something from this website (jaguarxp.com).

Looks very nice, I also have a 2000 3.0 s-type, where did you get the tv screen headrests and where did you fit in the dvd player?
Does your car have any cup holders for the rear seats? it drives me mad when the kids are sat in the back whinging that they have nowhere to put their drinks down etc

thought all stypes had the rear cup holders in the seat.. push out ones..

 

No cup holder in mine, drives me mad!

 

I think they were added in 2002.

I did upper and lower mesh grills on my S type 2000 4.0..... it made a huge difference!

[:-]I ordered my upper & lower grille mesh on Friday of last week so I should be expecting them pretty soon. I got the 2005 Upper grille though with the jaguar emblem on it. I will post new pictures soon so you can see the difference. Thanks for all the feedback people!

 

What I did was go to their website (jaguarxp.com) and talked to Chris and he hooked me up big time! I saved more money calling them direct then getting them thru ebay or their own website. I'll post some pictures when I get mine in my jag!

Sorry for this late email but I was gone on a short vaction. I did not install the headrest TV's myself because it came with the car when I bought it. I think your local car audio place will do it for $500 w/ a dvd player. I live in California so there are competitive prices. Do your homework and I'll bet you get a good decent price. The size on the screen are 7" inches and the brand are NESA. The only thing I installed was a DVD player and that cost me $160 with labor included and re-wiring the cables because the previous owner seemed to taken out the DVD player and messed up the wires! It was placed underneth the glove department.

nice rims on the black 3.0 what kind are they? they look similar to mine i have dropstars ds03's

 

got the lower mesh grille to match my stock upper one from XP and have been pleased, two things to note, they only give you zip ties to attach it to the already existing black plastic piece, and two after a year or so it is now looking a little worn, the finish isnt as good as the upper grilles, maybe they just put a spray on chrome finish and this is now dulling or chipping away. But in the end I am happy with it for the price. Here is a pic right after it went on.
