Default My Jag tried to squish me

So maybe I'm making this sound dramatic, but I sat in my front seat after vacuuming the floor, set my 'driving' seat position via the door, and my seat just kept moving forward. I had to jump up on the seat and kill the engine to make it stop!

Blink, start him back up, and he has been fine since. No further issues with seat positioning, and no further attempts to Temple of Doom me into the steering wheel. Any thoughts?

Greatly appreciated!

That seat movement should be limited by the physical track stops built into the seat rail. Unless the seat movement is software-controlled (which I doubt)....

Anyway, I'm glad you got out alive....

Mine has 2 seat positions. If yours also has then maybe you triggered one that's set for a sheet of paper

The seat movement is definitely limited, but you may be surprised to see how far forward it will go if you try!

Haha seems like it! I have my casual position, and my city position, but neither are quite *that* uncomfortable.

I suspect ours was previously owned by a little old church lady. I'm 6' and first time I powered it up, it shoved me up near the steering wheel so far it was scary.

Something like that happened when I had my '96 XJ6. I got in and hit the wrong memory button (my wife's setting). She is 5'2" and I'm 5/10". I felt like an accordian.
