I have just bought a S type Sport. Year 2000, and was pleased that the navigation system still works. It would be good to upgrade the CD with up to date info.
The CD in the boot has the Jag part XR83 10E898 AC.
AND DENSO; 463200-5062.
Can anyone tell me:
1. How old this disc is?
2, How to update it - at reasonable expense?
3, Is there a modern nav system that fits well into the existing 'hole' in the consul if I repalce it completely?

No updates for the older system...I looked into it, but no luck...no matter though as its still good..just shame no postcode search....

 

I have similar issue. Wondering if an up to date would do the trick?

 

Note the "No updates" part. Plenty of satnavs like TomTom are available and better.
