Default Price of gas

Hey, what's happening with the price of gas throughout the S-Type world with the collapse of the oil market?

In the US we're getting down towards $2.00/Gallon (US).

What are things like in Britain, Canada, Oz, etc.?

$1.84(9) so really $1.85 here in frigid S.C., per US gallon of regular. Like Obama stated, "don't get to used to it"!

Oh our beer prices fell over a US dollar as well, Miller Lites 24 pack on sale $13.99 until tomorrow

Currently $1.07/ltr as of 1 hour ago.

Thats for our 91 standard stuff, and $1.25 for the 98 real stuff.

Oz $ is down, so we pay more, then the Feds increased the fuel excise again.

Still better than its been in a long while.

That equates to double what we are paying in Australia. But jealous of the US prices though.

Ya, nice to live in the largest petro producer in the world (at this point, anyway)

Too bad about that global warming thing, though...

In an even stranger turn of events, gasoline is presently cheaper in Ontario than in the US border states. Typically ours is around 10-15% more expensive, but along with oil prices diving, so has our dollar against the US greenback.

Right now, 87 octane is 80.9/L locally or the equivalent of $2.60/US gal. Across the river in NY state, it's $2.73.

The prediction is that it will drop into the 70 cent bracket within a day or two.

Hey, on another idea, what do the Canadians think about this Keystone XL Pipeline clusterfxxk we're currently going through down here in the States?

You know, the one that is supposed to bring that really ugly crude oil down from the tar-sands but is really tying up the Government.

Is that even making the headlines north of the border?

Yes, it's daily headlines. Of course.

If you guys don't want the oil to refine, we'll sell it to somebody else. Just let us know when you've made up your mind so we'll know which direction the pipeline should go- south or west.
