Hi,

since my battery was flat for a little while the touch-screen now asks for a "System PIN".
The car is second hand, I looked at the manual and couldn't find one. Are these PINs unique for every car or are they standard?
And if unique should I contact the local dealer with my VIN?

I think the PIN is 917. It should be the same for all cars.

 

I think it's four digits. And I tried it two times with numbers written in my manual that didn't work. Now I'm afraid that I will lock it if I try any other false numbers. How many times can you try?

 

Any more ideas? I am afraid to try anything before I know it.
