Default Need help with Plenum removal to do TB cleaning.

Hey guys I thought I would do the Throttle Body cleaning today using Fergs tutorial on it, but to my frustration I can't seem to get the Plenum off first . Please if anyone has any suggestions and tips of what to do and what to disconnect to get it off I would be thankful to you. From the tutorial it says there's a bolt right under the front intake tube, but after that I loosened the top screw clamp and tried to wiggle it off, still stuck on pretty good.

Cheers!

HEy there, I first removed that bolt under the front intake tube then totally loosed the top Clamp. Was I suppose to loosen the bottom one too? I followed your first step.

sorry for the delay.. you dont NEED to loosen the top clamp on the TB but it could help...like I stated once you loosen the 10 mm bolt under the front of the plenum you need to pry the slip connector out of the rubber holder... just like you would do on an exhaust hanger....it should be very very simple to do...actually the easiest part of the entire project

also... you "could" also loosen the bottem clamp on the TB to provide more give...but you would most likely need to re tighten it back onto the TB so that you can effectively pry the top connection away from the TB
