Need techs help please
Ok guys, I'm finally finishing up this 2000 Jaguar s-type 4.0 engine rebuild. If you haven't heard the story, the quick version is: a jag mechanic ripped my family off. He pulled the motor and when we couldn't get a price on fixing the car, we decided to take the car back. The jerk gave us some "parts" but as I soon came to realize, the jerk just threw together a box of random parts.
So, I've had some problems but have been able to push through them slowly (by reading almost every darn page in the JTIS manual) but I still have a few questions/parts left!
First are the motor mounts. The engine I got had a staggered/offset mount on one side (I think it was the passenger side, but I can't remember for sure) and no mount on the other side. Now, I have six other brackets that look like motor mounts. I bolted the new rubber mounts onto two of the brackets. I chose the two brackets with the locating holes for the mount pins. Afterwards I realized one was offset and the other was straight! Here is what I have:

I have 4 of those thinner ones, the one in the second picture.
What do I need? Do I need two offset ones? I measured where the motor mount bosses are on the block, and they seem to be in the same spot so I can't imagine one mount being offset and the other not.
Ok, next is the unidentified parts!
I have these two black metal pieces with a splined bushing in the center of both of them:

What are these for?
The next part is a thick metal block with some type of mounting boss on it. Here's that part:

Now, this may or may not even be a jaguar part. I have found some landrover parts in this box and even some bmw parts. These are just the ones with no part numbers.
Ok, and the last part: I am having troubles with this transmission plate. It is the plate that mounts between the torque converter and the flexplate. When the guy removed it, he tore up one of the bolts. I was told by a jaguar tech on here that the whole torque converter needed to be rebuilt or replaced. I can't believe a bolt on plate can't be found somewhere else but after some searching, I couldn't find it anywhere. So I called some local transmission shops to see if they could rebuild the torque converter and they all told me yes but that my plate would have to be reused. When I asked if they knew where to get one, they said the dealer! So, I'm a little lost on this one, this is the plate I'm referring to:

Ok guys, sorry for such a long post but thanks in advance for any help you can provide!

The aluminum block in the photos which follow the batwing with splined hole... that block is for the serpentine belt tensioner, and mounts on the driver's side of the block. The power steering pump mounts to the side, the tnsioner arm and pulley mount to the front.
Thanks!
This is beginning to remind me of an XK140 I had to restore from boxes full of parts. Mixed in were a bunch of Jag parts from other cars, just tossed in for good measure.
In the case of an S Type, I'd make a few calls to local junkyards and go find an exemplar to photo/ measure and inventory what you are missing. Find a place with an engine already pulled, and they'd probably sell doodads off it for cheap: half the used engines I buy are missing ancillaries when they arrive.
If you tell me where you live, I can at least find an engine at a place in your neighborhood. V8 parts from XJ and XK I can identify on sight, but I don't work on enough S Types to know what components are different for accesory mounting etc. The one I identified looks like the idler bracket from AJ26/27.
The second picture below is an AJ27, '99-'03 XJ8. The belt tensioner arm is on the right of the photo, the bolt securing the base of the tensioner arm screws into the mounting block you have pictured in your post. I don't have a computer that will read from my camera at present, so tha's all I could find in what I have in archives.
Are there casting numbers on the motor mount brackets? I never looked but if there are any, we can compare notes with the XJ8 ones I have.

I have gone to numerous junkyards just to have them laugh in my face when I tell them I'm looking for a jaguar! I live in California but would be willing to go anywhere from San Diego to Los Angeles to the coast if I know for sure they'll have what I need.
You know what, I just found some numbers on the motor mounts. I now know that the skinny type ones, the ones in the second pic, are to a different Jaguar. I also found some numbers on the offset and straight brackets. The numbers are: XR83-6037AA and XR83-6061AA. I looked these up but cannot find any match.
Thanks for taking the time to help out!

The reasoning escapes me, but often times Jaguar uses a casting number on parts that does not correspond with the actual part number used for inventory: still, it is useful for comparison in situations like this.
PM me with what city you live in, I'll find you some leads.
