I have pulled the pin and purchased the 2003 V8 4.2 litre with highish kms.

Looks great, congratulations! I bought very similar a couple of months ago, 4,2 registered 20/12/2002 so presumably a Christmas present for someone, though mine in in the equally gorgeous pearlescent blue. I must confess I have never enjoyed driving a car quite as much and I still can't pass a window without looking out to gaze on its loveliness and to worship a little...

Thanks everyone- I was very taken with the colour and was the primary reason for purchasing- plus of course the V8.

I think you might want to check that, from the looks it seems to be Jaguar Racing Green (or Emerald Fire Pearl code 2074HHP), not BRG. From your picture it looks more emerald and it brighter that BRG which is really rather drab.

That's almost exactly the same as mine (107K miles) Steven, which for a lightly stressed well sorted V8 and knowing the miles others have done, is not a concern, for me anyway.
