I think you opted wrong. Not from a gas point of view per se, but the uphill battle you'll find trying to fit bits to your lower spec car.

A V8 Jag driven at 90kph gets 32mpg. Not to bad since the V8 thing throws you, it's only a 4.2. and a damn efficient one. Wasted gas is wasted gas, but the car still weighs the same and still needs the same fuel to move it.

I would have bought a V8 for the features and drive it economically. Well I did that actually. I keep my fuel computer loaded all the time on instant mpg and I learned a lot about how the car drives.

But back to your question, it will cost lots of dough and you'll be having the car apart on weekends. Plus you'll have more issues with the car since you customize it. Maybe just enjoy the car as it is? I resist the urge to airbox it, exhaust it and pop in fancy lights. The car runs great and treats me well. I fitted an aftermarket nav system and could not be happier.

Your username gives away that you might enjoy more mods than the next guy...maybe stick to rollin some nice 19s and a nav unit and makes the wife smile.

22's on a Jag ride like 19s on a beat, cut spring Civic. Plus you can't get much wider than 215/225 under the lips.

Wider looks far better on a jag than taller. Drive behind one!

Ever seen a civic with cut springs? It's bouncy and has a hard ride. 22s on an S will rub with a wide tire and the ride is out the door. Plus the gearing goes off so much that it shifts sorta funny after that.

19s and wide looks good. But that's not the look you want so... 22s it is!

Go with 20's at most. You'll appreciate it, the car will appreciate and your wife's back will appreciate it.

As for adding the front end on the car I don't think it would be too difficult to change it up but you'll have to shop on ebay. I wouldn't look anywhere else but on there.

The stock navigation integrated into the dash would cost more than an aftermarket unit that can do more and the work involved wouldn't be worth it.

Getting the auto adjusting hids on the front end probably wouldn't be too much fun but certainly anything can be done with a little brainstorming.
