Hi Orlee and welcome, your new car looks lovely.

Take care of it and it will give you years of trouble free, luxury motoring.

Good choice.

Boy that is a late model one!

How many miles. Do you know when it was put in service?

Default details...

The car was in use 2007-2010, 3 years. (checked the agency log odometer records during periodic treatments).

The car has around 86,000 miles.
I am second hand on it from its original owner.
I took it to Jag agency where they checked the logbook of services and malfunctions. It had the complete back axe replaced under warranty shortly after being delivered. Apart that - nothing failed. During the pre-purchase test in a testing institute - the coolant bottle was found to leak from the top pipe as I found it is almost typical for that bottle. I already ordered new one from ebay, waiting to replace it (1/3 the price given in Jag agency).
Engine and gear are in top condition, gear shift perfectly and in timely manner. Checked by specialist during test drive and with dynamometer before purchase.

Everything is almost like brand new. The car was sent to a "car saloon" to be treated like a bride where they cleaned and polished it as it look now. I made an arrangement with the polish guy to re-do it with the special price he give to the dealer.
The point is those car are enormously difficult to sell here in Israel and most people think they cost like top luxury cars even for 2007 year and don't even check the price. The market is none and they have price drop like stone falling from the sky.
This 2007 car cost here like a new tiny car I intended to buy to my daughter like Kia picanto, Seat Mii, Skoda CityGo and the like.. But what a difference!!
I also found that insurance is very low as they have low stealing record in the insurance agencies.
I really like the new car, it is powerful, responsive, give a great driving experience and also make everybody ask where did I got the job or money to own such car... Nobody believe how cheap they became.

Shush, don't tell anybody...

But I guess it really doesn't matter since there really seem to be very few of them for sale these days.

Don't worry, nobody want to believe that they are affordable. People rather prefer to guess who passed away in our family lately, and why we spent the money.... Or what tf..k new job did I got and don't tell..

Should I tell anybody I got fired from work two weeks ago, and that is the only affordable car I could get?? (That is a true statement btw, I got fired...)
And one more point on the later issue: Buying a Jag is cheaper the a shrink session. All my anger over my boss got away in a flash...
It happens it did to me good

Visually it is in beautiful shape, we'll see if I notice anything that's a concern on the test drive. Just wanted to check in to see if anyone had any feedback as to specific things I should look for/be aware of when checking out the car. I've been a long time admirer, but this would be my first Jaguar. I owned a Magnum R/T that I (stupidly) traded in for a more economical "commuter car" a couple years ago, and I'm ready to get back in to something a little more luxurious.
At 170K miles, you are buying a money pit. The car is at the end of its life. It's not a Toyota that will run forever.
