New Owner 2000 S type 69k miles
Beautiful car, runs and drives really well. No noise from the timing chain, shifts well. Suspension replaced, new brakes and 2 oil changes all in the past 8k miles.
Ashtray lid is broken, looks like I have to replace the whole thing or can I just get the lid? Driver visor holder is broken, found piece but it is $26, can I find that cheaper? Trunk switch not working, apparently there is a valet switch in the glove box? And that is it.
On the timing chain, should I do the top tensioner and just stay on top of that? A local indie says he has not had any cam chain guide failures if he replaces the tensioners early and often.
Should I do fluid swap in tranny? Any other preventatives that I should consider to avoid a major component failure?
