Default new owner needs help

hi all this is first jag, lovely car just a few small things spoiling it.no.1 heater not working.there is no water in the big hose to the left and low down from radiator could this be an airlock if so does anybody know how to bleed air out.
no.2 intermittent reversing sensors, could this be caused by over waxing?
I did have a blockage in windscreen washers found quick cure,An air duster to blow down washer pipes worked a treat.
As for air lock (if that is what it is )have tried bleed screw by expansion tank did not help thanks

Lol at the punctuation remark.

Would be most concerned of no coolant circulating thru radiator - if thats true - your engine is probably overheating? I am assuming you mean the orange coolant not water.

Do you know if the thermostat has been replaced recently? May want to check the coolant flow diagrams for your car to see which way the coolant flows.

Just a suggestion but in the US we did not get the Diesel so the UK boards will have a lot more on your particular problems.

Have you posted on there?

Above selfishly edited so that my eyes stop hurting

No.1, JTIS contains the procedure for bleeding the cooling system. I'm not sure if or how the diesel variants compare to gasoline powered versions.

No.2, the park assist system should emit an error tone if there is a fault. Does your car do this?

Next time you get an error tone, shut off the engine while the transmission is in reverse, set the parking brake and listen closely and carefully at each sensor in the bumper for a clicking sound. The one(s) that don't click are faulty.
