i have a 2006 jaguar stype R. Blows very cold air but only on the feet and defroster. Nothing comes out of the dash air vents. It does not matter if i manually change the direction, it always stays on the feet. I can get it to move to defrost to/from feet but it never gets to the dash vents. Anyone have an idea of what it could be?

 

UPDATE: It does move off of the feet. I can hear it switching vents but only a small amount of air comes out of the dashboard vents. and yes, the vent switch is open. :-)

 

sounds like your stepper motor for the vents is seized or broken.

Where can I find a diagram of where the 2006 Jaguar S-Type R AC vent stepper motors are? I have looked everywhere.

 

Same as 2003 etc. See JTIS. Or any parts place?
