That is the same car as mine I got for 6,000 off ebay. If this one goes anywhere near there it is a steal!

I saw that same ebay listing yesterday and was thinking the same thing. Jaguarforums solves all problems

At that price it would be cheaper to buy it than fixing your own if something major happened. I'm half tempted to buy it and keep it as a 'spare'.

Anybody want to guess what's actually wrong with it?

The first thing I would look at is that the new battery they put in might be worse then the one they took out. It might of just been some bad luck that they got a battery that had been sitting for a while and just wasnt good anymore.
I had this happen on my Audi it was a 98 and it needed a new battery when I got a new one it was bad also apparently no one went to this place for an Audi battery and it had been sitting a while and just wasnt good anymore. Brought it back and they had to order me a new one and was all good after that. That is probably where I would start just to rule it out.

My bet if it is indeed a brand new battery..... alternator must be next in line.
