Jag is super duper expensive for basically the same part, so go aftermarket. Ordered mine from rockauto.com

That's the plan Just wanted to cross reference the part numbers as not many aftermarket list STR specific sensors

Default Rockauto

Rockauto provides several companies that manufacture the S-Type O2 sensor. Some are expensive, some.... I didn't go with the most expensive and to date have not had a problem.

It's expensive to change in the hope that's right. What evidence for it I wonder?

BTW, isn't this the second thread on this...

Yep, second thread. stypernut, faulty O2 sensors will show up as a code. Check for vaccume leaks i.e. unsecured airbox lid, vaccume line, etc.

Hi Yes Not sure as to why the thread came up twice Something I did wrong no doubt! Yep checked everything to date more than once No leaks etc Had the cats go bad on me about 5k miles ago and I'm thinking now the sensors were on their way out then Had the MIL on since the cats were changed and now the restricted performance notice is on pretty much all the time Codes always the usual mix of lean bank one and two Cats below threshold etc etc So far new airfilter, MAF,cats, CATS, Cleaned the TB and checked all hoses for leaks etc
Got all sensors ordered for less than Ł280 Not cheap but not as bad as expected
Need to sort before the WI gets fitted I'm sure it's not much Just a question of trial and error

O2 sensors done (with extenders on the post cat sensors) MIL and restricted performance cleared All fuelling related codes gone at last but.......... New code never seen before P2601 Going to check the charge cooler pump as that seems to be the likely culprit If the connection is ok will change the pump for an upgraded version Anyone know of any charge cooler radiators available for the STR? Seen them for the XKR but I think I've read that the STR is already bigger Any idea if that's correct?

Good job. A larger intercooler radiator won't fit. There was mention of a larger IC pump somewhere on this forum. U can check with the XKR forum too.

There was an offer of trunk-mounted intercoolers.

Forget about it. Go for a "Chiller Killer" ($650) or wait for Avos to wrap up his adaptor for the 200 chp twin screw blower.

Ditto. Avos runs the identical motor and exhaust as the STR, yet yields 635 chp with only the addition of a twin screw.

New charge cooler pump ordered as still getting the P2601 and intermittant RP message Out of curiosity how hot should the charge coolers get? Got home this evening after a very sedate drive home and I couldn't touch them Not sure the pumps running at all but no RP which seems odd!

Take a look at this thread. I just went thru some interesting O2 repairs on my 2005 STR. Brutal gave some advice I was not familiar with regarding the O2 error codes. I have the proper Factory Denso part number in that thread.

Got it for $78 including shipping.
