oil additives?

I'm about to get an oil change, what oil is best for the R's? I usually do synthetic also what about additives? I like Lucas, is our engines safe to use this? The car has higher mileage.

go to Firestone.They use Kendall. Kendall oil is the best. Their oil is refined from Pennsylvania and has a very low Sulphur content. As far as additives, I don't know....

No additives are needed for today's engine..If your's is so worn out it's blowing smoke then you need more than additives..Stick with just the regular and frequent oil changes and you'll be fine.

Dennis is right. Infact, the Jaguar owner's manual for my 2001 says thereis no need for additives as long as you keep using 91+ octane

If you use conventional oils..every 3000 miles is my rule of thumb..If you use Synthetics (which I do use Castrol Syntec) I change every 5000 miles.
